There's
a new dog in town...
and he's got something to say
In 1998 a new acoustic music co-op label bounded onto the
scene... and sat up. (good boy)
Woofie fetched 3 CDs that summer:
Jay Howlett's self-titled album,
Steve Kritzer's Keeper of the Stones, and
Chuck McCabe's Burgers & Champagne
The response was as thrilling as a wet nose under the blanket
on a winter night: the three Woofers were invited to showcase, perform,
emerge, and otherwise generally bring home the bones from the Sisters Folk
Fest, the Napa Valley Music Festival, and the Kerrville Folk Festival.
Now he's showed up with a compilation CD featuring 10 tracks
by Steve, Jay and Chuck...
keep an eye on this mutt... no tellin' what he's got buried
in the yard.
