In Hilltown, an hour or so south of Belfast, there's a weekly "session" at The Cove, a cozy little pub run by Ben Sands, of Ireland's musically-famous Sands family. Fra Drumm has my guitar here (I call her Myrtle... made by Breedlove Guitars, out of that same beautiful wood from the Northwest US) and is (no doubt) handing out some blarney to one of the locals, who seems to believe it all.

Eimer McCafferty on harp, Steve Kritzer travelling with his new Breedlove mandolin, Paddy Drumm, Myrtle and me... we're playing a booksigning at a private club in Belfast, for an author who writes about the early days of the IRA... the old soldiers came out of retirement to be at this event, and I was nervous to point the camera at the crowd.
