YMCA MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the San Angelo YMCA is to serve the people of the
San Angelo community of all faiths and ages, with emphasis on the
youth, to achieve their God-Given potential in spirit, mind and body
through its programs, staff & facilities.
- YEAR ROUND DAY CAMPS (serving ages 5-12 years)
- YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS (Football, Cheerleading, Basketball, Swimming)
- YOUTH CAMP (serving 10-15 years of age)
- TRI-HI-Y (High School girls program)
- INFORMAL EDUCATION CLASSES (Aerobics, Country Western Dance, Healthy Back)
- TRIATHLON, DUATHLON AND DISTANCE FESTIVAL (Seasonal)
- ADULT INDOOR-OUTDOOR VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES AND TOURNAMENTS
The YMCA facilities are open to everyone regardless of race, color,
creed, national origin or economic status.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers accepted year round in a variety of capacities. Heavy volunteer
activity used in Football, Cheerleading and Basketball Programs. Also, for
Board of Directors and its sub-committees.
