The Right Stuf International was founded in 1987 and for many years, has been identified with what some categorize as "classic anime"... things like Astro Boy, Gigantor, Eighth Man. They've done a few interesting things since that, of course, like Tezuka's "Legend of the Forest" and the Inomata "Leda: Fantastic Adventure of Yohko", but most still think of them as the company that released Astro Boy.
The Right Stuf International offers a secure online catalog for the purchase of Anime DVDs, Posters, Anime Production Cels, T-shirts, Soundtrack CDs, Computer CD-Roms, and Japanese Art and Comic Book Products!
AnimeNation
Or, if you prefer, the fine folks at AnimeNation will also be happy to take your requests.

Built on the philosophy of superior, knowledgeable customer service, and the largest online selection of anime, AnimeNation is recognized worldwide as a place where fans can not only buy their anime goods, but can meet, discuss, and share their hobby with others.

My Favorite Hangouts
AnimEigo
AnimEigo got started one day in 1988 in Ithaca, NY. One afternoon, while taking a break from programming, Robert Woodhead was playing with a video board that would allow him to superimpose Macintosh graphics on video. Roe Adams wandered by and saw this.
Roe was a huge anime fan, and he inquired as to whether it would be possible to use this hardware to subtitle some of these weird videos he loved. Roe figured that if he could provide subtitled versions, he'd score big Otaku points. Robert suggested thay they might actually make money doing this by going to Japan getting licenses and trying to sell the videos. They both had a good laugh and AnimEigo was born, mostly as something to do on weekends.
White Radish

He continues to adopt the latest techniques and technologies to aid in the completion of the long-awaited Pink Lemonade.
Anime Web Turnpike
The Anime Web Turnpike was founded in August of 1995 by Jay Fubler Harvey as a project to provide a place where everyone could find anime and manga links in a simple and efficient manner, regardless of browser.
